As described in my previous post, I ventured off to Mexico in search of some thrilling dive experiences, on a mission to start up a scuba web series.
This is the 2nd video created in the scuba series for ScubaDiverLife.com

Back in June of 2011 I was checking out scuba related videos online. I realized there were not enough professional videos that had a narrative.
I became very motivated to start a series for ScubaDiverLife.com and see what I could make happen. After several conversations with Dive Cooperative in Cozumel, Mexico – we had four thrilling scuba dives planned, along with an opportunity to start the web series I was dreaming of.
The first part of our adventure was to Cozumel, Mexico!
In this video Scuba Diver Life explores the fabulous corals and drift scuba diving that Cozumel has to offer! Enjoy!

I have been wanting to have a photography website for quite sometime. Throughout my undergrad my main focus was on photography along with digital media. Still to this day I have boxes and boxes of negatives and hand developed photos, from my 4 years in Visual Arts at the University of Victoria.
Photography has always been a passion of mine, and over the years I have collected some great shots. Towards the end of my undergrad I became quite obsessed with full moon photography. Keeping the shutter of a camera open for over 10 minutes and drawing in art with light, some of my favorite memories from Victoria.
I am going to make it a goal of mine to keep my new photography website updated… with fabulous shots from my life adventures!

Many people have been asking me about my current projects, so I wanted to share some updates. After an incredibly successful year, I am embarking on a new adventure in my career. What type of success? All sorts! My LLC Digi Talk Labs did very well for itself in the last year, I grew ScubaDiverLife.com substantially through social media and am now getting incredible traffic and attention to the community and social networks. I also have finally met with my fitness and health goals, after almost two years with a personal trainer. I’m eating healthier and living a much healthier lifestyle. When you’re as busy as I am, working on projects and am constantly being asked to help out on more, it’s important to take care of yourself.

Google Mountain View Office
I’ve transitioned out of my job at Microsoft and today was my first day of my new social media position at Google. I have now moved from Seattle to the Silicon Valley. This is a very exciting time for me. Google is such a vibrant place full of positive and motivated energy. Google has a University campus vibe … a community of people gathered together to learn and create. I am looking forward to:
• Googler-taught classes on a variety of topics, as well as a library of short
instructional videos
• Free shuttles to and from work with wireless available for lap top use
• On-site classes available through Google University. Topics include workplace essentials, leadership, people management, personal growth
• The Authors@Google program brings authors on-site for informal talks about their recently published books
Today was a great day and I am feeling excited and thankful as I begin my new adventure here at Google!
All the while, I am still continuing to enjoy life, taking photos, scuba diving, traveling, kite boarding and much more.
More updates soon.
Best,
Nadia
During my first visit to Kona, Hawaii in late November 2010, I had gone out on a few of the Manta Ray night dives. During my visit I had become facinated with Manta Rays and wanted to learn more about them. I decided a few days into the trip to take the PADI speciality course, to educate myself. I learned how to identify them, know how to tell what sex they are and much more. I took the course with Keller Laros who works at Jack’s Diving Locker in Kona and is also the founder of the Manta Pacific Research Foundation. I believe that this is one of the only places in the world where you can get a PADi specialty in Manta Rays.
I then decided to go back to Kona in May of 2011 to try and see more Manta Rays during the famous night dive in Kona. I was happy to sit down with Keller to make a great video about Manta Rays, the Kona night dive and the conservation efforts that Keller went through to get Manta Rays protected in the State of Hawaii! Enjoy!
I spoke in Vancouver, BC in March about Social Media for film and small business. It was great to talk about the successes of ScubaDiverLife.com and share my findings with the very interested guests!
Meeting people online has become a bit normal for me these days. I met Christine Beggs through my website ScubaDiverLife.com
It’s deffinitly hard getting people who are educated in scuba diving to write for you. Christine was excited and eager to get started with writing articles for ScubaDiverLife.com.
A few weeks later she let me know about ProjectBlueHope.com - a website dedicated to the conservation of the oceans and earth. I was quick to jump at the opportunity to re-design her simple
wordpress site. Below you can see the re-design … keep checking back as I am still tweaking the site and the logo. It always feels good to help another out , especially when they love the end result!
