Exploring Bonaire with SeaLife Cameras

In early 2012 we had the pleasure of travelling to Bonaire, on a mission to improve our underwater photography and videography skills. While we were out there we also had the opportunity to get to know SeaLife Cameras. It was a great experience and we can’t wait to do more!

Swimming With Whale Sharks

The highlight of our “Dream Extreme” Scuba Diving trip to Mexico was swimming with the Whale Sharks near Isla Mujeres… literally hundreds of them everywhere!

Cenotes Mexico

As described in my previous post, I ventured off to Mexico in search of some thrilling dive experiences, on a mission to start up  a scuba web series.

This is the 2nd video created in the scuba series for ScubaDiverLife.com

Dive Cooperative | Cozumel, Mexico | Scuba Diving

Back in June of 2011 I was checking out scuba related videos online. I realized there were not enough professional videos that had a narrative.
I became very motivated to start a series for ScubaDiverLife.com and see what I could make happen. After several conversations with Dive Cooperative in Cozumel, Mexico – we had four thrilling scuba dives planned, along with an opportunity to start the web series I was dreaming of.

The first part of our adventure was to Cozumel, Mexico!

In this video Scuba Diver Life explores the fabulous corals and drift scuba diving that Cozumel has to offer! Enjoy!

Kona Hawaii | Manta Ray Night Dive & Manta Conservation

During my first visit to Kona, Hawaii in late November 2010, I had gone out on a few of the Manta Ray night dives. During my visit I had become facinated with Manta Rays and wanted to learn more about them.  I decided a few days into the trip to take the PADI speciality course, to educate myself. I learned how to identify them,  know how to tell what sex they are and much more. I took the course with Keller Laros  who works at Jack’s Diving Locker in Kona and is also the founder of the Manta Pacific Research Foundation. I believe that this is one of the only places in the world where you can get a PADi specialty in Manta Rays.

I then decided to go back to Kona in May of 2011 to try and see more Manta Rays during the famous night dive in Kona. I was happy to sit down with Keller to make a great video about Manta Rays, the Kona night dive and the conservation efforts that Keller went through to get Manta Rays protected in the State of Hawaii! Enjoy!
